We have a G4 running OS X 10.4.10 client for light-duty filesharing in an office with 9 users. We all use the same username/password to log in. Every once in a while, we get a notice claiming "This server will not allow any additional users to log in. Please try again later."
I assume some connections aren't being closed properly, because restarting the server fixes the issue, and all 9 can reconnect.
This seems to be due to a limitation in AFP in OS X client, which allows a maximum of 10 Users. I was hoping that SharePoints would remove that limit and free me of having to restart the machine twice a week.
Does anyone know of a way of disabling the limit (or at least pushing it higher), even if this means delving into command liine?
Thank you for your efforts.
