I have the need to create a SMB share with "everyone" access and a private SMB share for each user of the network (about 25 users).

The everyone share worked perfectly, but I can't limit access to the private SMB shares.

The share priviledges are Owner: r/w, Group: none, Everyone: none.

First, despite the none, the share is listed when end users attempt to "Connect to Server". Second, as long as they log in with a valid user/password combination, they gain access to the share even though they are not the Owner.

Ideas? I am sure I am doing something wrong, but can't figure it out.

Well, perhaps you could post your /etc/smb.conf file here along with a ls -l of a folder you are sharing. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you.
